MADE WITH LOVE

Materials/Techniques: Vintage pillow covering with top hat appliqué was given to me by a neighbor cleaning out her home. I added the words printed on mulberry, the silver mesh heart, the beads and some embroidery thread outlining the heart.

Artist's Statement: This piece of appliqué caught my interest as a small piece of someone’s history. It was obviously made with love and care and I didn’t want the love to pass with the maker.
