Materials/Techniques: Digital manipulation and computer printing netted me a piece of silk organza with the words and the image on them, which I then fused to a piece of commercial printed cotton (same as used for the binding). I then cut this apart and fused it back down on solid black in a "wheel spoke" pattern, slightly off center.

Artist's Statement: I just finished reading Mary Summer Rain's book called "Love Never Sleeps" and it seemed like every chapter title used words that rang a bell with me so I decided to make a quilt highlighting those words. It's a bit of a dark quilt, but it was just something I was feeling that needed to be expressed. Good book, covers a lot of important topics!

This quilt earned $55.00 for Alzheimer's research.
